Lessons
Cells, Tissues & Organs (Coming)
What important structures in the human body are necessary for survival? Take a look at some of the main organ systems operating in your body all of the time to keep you alive. Identify the main functions of systems, including processes that occur at specific organs that serve the overall operations of that system. Finally, take on the role of cells in the body to meet some of those functions.
Grade 6 - Big Idea: Multicellular organisms rely on internal systems to survive, reproduce, and interact with their environment
Grade 8 - Big Idea: Life processes are performed at the cellular level

Body System Observations
Teacher-led lesson on human body system structures and functions.
Roles of Cells & Tissues
Observe some of the roles that tissues play, even at the cellular level.
Cell Quest
Students take on the roles of different cells and tissues in an immune response.
